This backyard project located in El Cerrito was constructed in February of  2008.  Once fully covered in concrete, this yard was transformed into a three part space: a large blue stone patio, a children’s play area and a small lawn surrounded by planter beds.  The project consisted of: adding a redwood trellis, steps, and stucco to the existing concrete block perimeter wall; a new redwood entry gate; a stepping stone pathway to a blue stone patio that wraps around a small deck; a french drain to prevent flooding; and a full planting scheme featuring accent boulders as well as drip and pop-up irrigation systems.
